Good-bye, So Long, Mr. Junk © Dean G Wolfe 2016 Goodbye Mr. Junk Your crazy ship has sunk Piled high with gold Paid with lies that you have sold It's hard to feel that sad though You brought this on yourself Telling all the people that wisdom comes of wealth Goodbye, so long Walls and poison words cries of help unheard You label and abuse all the scapegoats that you choose Rebuilding won't come easy If hearts are not made strong The way to lead the people is show them they belong

Nightmares © 2013 Dean G Wolfe There’s a monster under my bed Trying to grab me, Trying to nab me There's a psycho in my attic With a hatchet, problematic but i don’t really care when they’re acting like they’re there 'Cause i don’t believe in nightmares Still i need my teddy bear I can hear the gremlins laughing teeth are flashing Nails are scratching Are there zombies in my basement using space up? I should charge rent but i don’t really care when they’re acting like they’re there 'Cause i don’t believe in madness Would you be my teddy bear?

I'm an Ordinary Man © 2013 Dean G Wolfe i’ve been up a few hills and I’ve been down a few roads i’ve been round a few blocks. steady she goes if love is just in the future if love is just in the past Then where’s the love in the middle? what makes love last? is love only for some And not for the rest? is love exclusive, and only for the best? (Held closely to the chest?) Am I just ordinary an ordinary man? I wish I was special more special than i am ooooh oooh I’m an ordinary man Got a thing or two right Got a thing or ten wrong Finding it hard to be be patient And hard to belong Maybe I’m just a late bloomer Maybe my time will still come My hour to stand in the spotlight To stand in the sun

about

While working on my upcoming album (Departure Gate) I felt impelled to dig out and brush off some of my older material (like the lo-fi bedroom tapes releases). I realized some cool songs fell through the cracks and never saw the light of day. This album gives them a much needed home.
